Recovering from a slipped disc, actor Mahima Makwana is using the time to watch shows, read, and spend time with her family. A part of her though is already counting the days to the release of her next, Musafir Cafe, the Netflix series that sees her opposite Vikrant Massey. According to the actor, the romantic drama is something she manifested.
"I won't be able to tell you much about my character, but Musafir Cafe is very close to my heart. Shooting in Mussoorie and playing a character I absorbed so much from will stay with me. With time, one realises there is so much more to love than we know. This genre can be taken to [different] depths. I had a great time exploring my take on it through this show," she said of the series created by Terribly Tiny Tales.
The cherry on top was sharing screen space with Massey, an actor Makwana deeply admires. She reflected, "When playing characters that need emotional depth, you need to have someone opposite you who has a deep understanding of life. We all know the kind of work Vikrant has presented lately. He is amazing to work with."
The actor, who began her career with television, caught attention with Salman Khan's âAntim: The Final Truth' and Dharmatic Entertainment's âShowtime' opposite Emraan Hashmi
