Tahir Raj Bhasin on balancing mystery and emotion in Shaque, Pal Bhar Ke Liye

Tahir Raj Bhasin is counting the days to the release of Shaque, Netflix's mystery thriller that sees him opposite Parineeti Chopra. Soon after, the actor will switch gears with Vikram Phadnis's maiden Hindi directorial feature, Pal Bhar Ke Liye, an intimate story that explores mental health. For the actor, the contrast between the two projects became pronounced because he shot them alongside each other.

Bhasin reflected, "Shaque is an intense mystery series while Pal Bhar Ke Liye is an emotional feature film. They are completely different worlds, emotionally and tonally, so moving between the two required me to constantly switch gears as a performer. That contrast is what I found most exciting because both projects demanded different [things] from me. As an actor, it's exciting to get into the mould of different lead characters who propel gripping stories."
