The Traitors 2 trailer: Shweta Tiwari says she caught her husbands cheating; Parul Gulati bets to shut down her brand

After a successful first season, The Traitors India is back with a second season of the show hosted by Karan Johar. With 21 contestants from diverse fields in the mix, this season promises drama, controversies, and tons of explosive moments. The makers dropped the trailer of the upcoming season, and it gives a glimpse of what the viewers can expect this season.

The Traitors Season 2 trailer

The trailer begins with grand visuals of the Suryagarh Palace, as it moves forward as teh drama unfolds among the contestants. In one of the scenes, Karan Johar tells Shweta Tiwari, "Jhoot bol lengi kyuki actor hai, lekin shayad jhoot pakadne mein aap itni mahir nahi ho sakti." To this, Shweta made a shocking statement saying, "Apne Patiyon ko cheat karte hue maine hi pakda tha."

In another glimpse, actor and entrepreneur Parul Gulati is seen betting on her hair extension brand, saying she'll shut her successful venture if Harman Singha is not the traitor.

A scene even includes a heated exchange with personal attacks between Mallika Sherawat, who claims to be the highest paid contestant, and Rhea Chakraborty. Mallika tells Rhea, "You were in jail. This is a big comeback for you." Rhea's responds, "Yeh episode kab air hoga, bata dena… main India chhodke chali jaungi."

The Traitors Season 2

The Traitors Season 2 is set against the grandeur of Jaisalmer's royal Suryagarh Palace, as Karan Johar return as the master orchestrator of a reality series where trust is a luxury, deception is a strategy, and betrayal lurks around every corner.

Competing for the coveted title and a significant cash prize at stake are 21 celebrity players, including Aaditya Kulshreshth (Kullu), Abhishek Malhan (Fukraa Insaan), Ansh Chopra, Dalip Tahil, Harman Singha, Ikka Singh, Karan Singh Magic, Krystle D'souza, Mallika Sherawat, Munawar Faruqui, Parul Gulati, Prish, Ranveer Brar, Rhea Chakraborty, Rida Tharana, Sahil Salathia, Shahneel Gill, Shalini Passi, Shweta Tiwari, Soundous Moufakir, and Tanya Puri, who enter the game ready to outwit, outplay, and outlast one another.

The Traitors Season 2 premieres on August 13, 2026 and will be streaming exclusively on Prime Video in India, with new episodes dropping every Thursday.
