Southern feast in New Delhi
Varq at Taj Mahal in New Delhi presents a specially curated Onam Sadhya. Known for its contemporary take on Indian cuisine, the restaurant will be serving the feast featuring classics such as rasam, upperi, vendakkai khichdi, and red pumpkin erussery.

This season, Punekars can savour the same festive magic with a specially curated Onam Market Brunch at The Westin Pune Koregaon Park. Diners can enjoy traditional favourites such as Avial, Olan, Thoran, Sambar, Banana Chips, and varieties of Payasam. Guests can also take it a step further and pick their own favourites as a part of the 'Make Your Own Thali' experience.

A touch of Bengaluru
This Onam, SALT Indian Restaurant in Bengaluru is hosting diners to celebrate Kerala’s most beloved festival with a lavish Onam Sadhya spread over two days. 

From the comforting Koottu Curry and Avial to festive classics like Erissery, Pineapple Pachadi, Kalan, Olan, and Pulissery, the menu has many different kinds of dishes.

The meal is incomplete without Inji Curry, Mango Achaar, Sambar, Rasam, Paripp Curry, Ghee, Pappadam, Sarkkara Varatti, and Banana Chips, all paired with traditional boiled red rice and white rice. End your meal with indulgent desserts like Adapayasam and Paripp Payasam, but not without buttermilk to complete the celebration

Celebrate the spirit of Onam in Hyderabad with a traditional vegetarian sadhya that is served on a banana leaf at Tuya, prepared under the guidance of chef Suresh DC. Diners can indulge sambaram, uppu, inji puli, pachadis, erissery, olan, aviyal, and the essential parippu with nei and sambar, to the celebratory finish of ada pradhaman and semiya payasam

Celebrating Kerala in Telangana
At Food Exchange in Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre, celebrate the harvest festival with the Onam Food Fest. Served on a banana leaf, the feast brings together an array of traditional dishes, from Pachadi, Thoran, Avial, and Sambar to decadent Payasam and Khichdi.

The ambience is enhanced with vibrant Pookalam-inspired decor, and festive music, creating a warm and immersive cultural experience

Southern sojourn
At Southern Spice, the South Indian restaurant at Taj Coromandel, indulge in a Onam thali. Presented on a banana leaf, the thali begins with the tangy and spicy Injipuli alongside the refreshing Sambharam. The meal includes crunchy Naendra chips (Kerala banana chips), Sharkara varatti (jaggery-coated raw banana), and Chakka chips (jackfruit chips), offering a delightful start.

The thali showcases a variety of traditional dishes such as Mathanga Vanpayar Erissery, Carrot Beans Thoran, Achinga Mezhukkupuratti, Koon Ulli Theeyal, Pachakkaya Kalan, Olan, Kootu Curry, Pineapple Pulissery, Avial paired with Sambhar, Rasam, and Katti Parippu. The accompaniments include Matta Rice (Kerala red rice) and steamed Ponni Rice. End your meal with Ada Pradhaman and Broken Wheat Paal Payasam.
