Recent anti-drug operations in Mumbai

The seizure comes weeks after the Navi Mumbai Crime Branch's Anti-Narcotics Cell busted an alleged international drug cartel on July 16 and arrested six people from different parts of Maharashtra. Police seized 1,307 grams of hydro ganja and 5 grams of cocaine collectively valued at around Rs 1.4 crore.

Earlier, on May 26, the Mumbai Crime Branch's Anti-Narcotics Cell arrested three people after raiding a flat in Agripada, where officials recovered mephedrone and raw materials worth more than Rs 50 crore, along with a country-made pistol and 19 live cartridges.

Acting on a tip-off, the Kandivli unit of the ANC searched a flat in Yasmeen Tower in Agripada, South Mumbai, and allegedly found a setup for manufacturing mephedrone.
