Changes and extensions in ward boundaries have led to widespread confusion among voters in Malad, with many discovering that their ward numbers and polling stations have been altered in the electoral rolls.

Voters turned away from familiar polling centres

Several voters from Ward No. 34, who had traditionally cast their ballots at Daulat School, arrived at the familiar location to vote, only to learn that their polling centre had been shifted elsewhere.

Lack of on-ground guidance adds to voter distress

Adding to the inconvenience, there was no official personnel present at the premises to guide voters or provide information about the new polling locations. As a result, many voters were left confused and distressed, unsure of where to go to exercise their franchise due to the lack of on-ground assistance.
