Mumbai: Python rescued from inside car engine near Dahisar flyover by snake rescuer

Residents of a building near the Dahisar flyover in Mumbai witnessed an unusual rescue on Saturday afternoon after a python was found hiding inside the engine of a car.

Residents spot python inside parked car

The incident came to light when local resident Sunny Kamble was alerted about the snake slithering inside the engine of his sister's car, which was parked on the premises of the building.

After noticing the python entering the vehicle, residents promptly alerted the owner and called for help.

Snake rescuer arrives to remove reptile

A local snake rescuer, identified as Sameer Gupta, arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the call. Gupta managed to safely remove the reptile from the car and rescue it without causing any harm.

Green patch, stream near residential area

While the residential complex is not directly adjacent to a dense forest, it is located along the service road leading from the Dahisar flyover. The area is also close to a nearby stream and a natural green patch, where such wildlife is occasionally spotted.
