Unidentified man's body recovered from Goregaon nullah; police probe underway

A sense of panic spread in Mumbai's Goregaon West after the body of an unidentified man was recovered from the Shastri Nagar nullah on Link Road on Sunday afternoon. Residents alerted the police after spotting the body.

Police rushed to the spot, carried out a panchnama and sent the body to Siddharth Hospital for a post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.

The deceased is yet to be identified, and police are making efforts to establish his identity.

A probe is underway to determine whether the death was due to natural causes, an accident, or whether any foul play was involved.
