Mumbai is expected to witness a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain in the city and suburbs on Saturday, according to the latest weather forecast issued at 8 am.
The maximum temperature in Mumbai is likely to settle around 30 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be around 26 degrees Celsius, indicating warm and humid weather conditions amid continued monsoon activity across the city and suburbs.
The first high tide of the day is expected at 9.52 am, with waves reaching 3.53 metres, while the second high tide will occur at 9.13 pm with a height of 2.99 metres.
The low tide is scheduled for 4.03 pm at 2.43 metres, followed by another low tide at 3.21 am on July 26, when the sea level is expected to drop to 1.32 metres.
Meanwhile, Mumbai recorded light rainfall in the 24 hours between 8 am on July 24 and 8 am on July 25. The City received an average of 6.51 mm of rainfall, the Eastern Suburbs recorded 11.36 mm, while the Western Suburbs received 6.98 mm.
Mumbai's water stock received a significant boost after heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours, with the seven lakes supplying drinking water to the city collectively reaching 12,11,188 million litres (ML), or 83.68 per cent of their total live storage capacity of 14,47,363 ML, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) Hydraulic Engineer's Department.
The figures, recorded at 6 am on July 25, show an increase of 6.06 percentage points in water stock over the previous day. Four reservoirs, Modak Sagar, Vihar, Tulsi and Tansa, remain full or nearly full, while Bhatsa and Middle Vaitarna registered substantial gains following continued rainfall.

Modak Sagar continues to remain at 100 of its capacity, storing 1,28,925 ML. The reservoir received 84 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours, taking its cumulative seasonal rainfall to 2,159 mm.
Vihar Lake also remains at 100, with 27,698 ML in storage. It recorded 13 mm of rainfall during the day, while seasonal rainfall reached 2,069 mm.
Tulsi Lake, which has been overflowing since July 7, continues to remain full with 8,046 ML of water. It received 16 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours, taking the season's total rainfall to 2,817 mm, the highest among all seven reservoirs.
Tansa Lake is at 98.45 capacity with 1,42,828 ML of usable water. The catchment recorded 90 mm of rainfall during the past 24 hours, while cumulative seasonal rainfall stands at 2,036 mm.
