A Confederation of Indian Industry report has proposed a pilot air taxi corridor for the Delhi-NCR region connecting Gurugram, Connaught Place, and the soon-to-be Jewar International Airport in Noida which could cut down travel time and ease infrastructure bottlenecks.

According to the report, in crowded urban areas, electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, also referred to as "air taxis," could reduce transit times from hours to minutes. Such services could be used in the early stages for medical logistics, such as emergency missions and the transportation of organs.
