Three villagers were injured after a leopard attacked them in Ballupura village in Rajasthan''s Alwar district on Sunday morning.

The injured were identified as Gila Yadav, 45, Jairam Saini, 40, and Babli Yadav, 39. All three were admitted to hospital, while Gila was later referred to the district hospital in Alwar due to the severity of his injuries.

According to villagers, the leopard was first spotted moving through agricultural fields in the morning. A group of villagers attempted to drive the animal away, following which it attacked the three people.
