Leopard kills eight-year-old boy in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor

An eight-year-old boy was killed in a leopard attack while returning home with his parents in Uttar Pradesh`s Bijnor district. Forest officials said the animal dragged the child into a nearby sugarcane field, and an investigation into the incident is underway.

An eight-year-old boy was attacked and killed by a leopard while returning home from the forest with his family in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor district, an official said on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Ravi.

Forest Ranger Sachin Sharma said that Ravi was walking to his home from the fields with his parents in Signiwala village when a leopard suddenly appeared, attacked the boy, and dragged him into a sugarcane field.
