A video of the IndiGo pilot making an in-flight announcement in Tulu (language spoken in Dakshina Kannada) is going viral on social media.

The flight captain has been identified as Pradeep Padmashali, welcomed passengers onboard a Mumbai to Mangaluru flight speaking in Tulu. He later informed the passengers that Tulu is his mother tongue and switched to English. Padmashali made the announcement before the flight's departure from Mumbai.

The video was shared by the Twitter account 'Beauty of Tulunad' on social media.

The captain's announcement in his mother tongue was also appreciated by netizens.
