It's no secret that Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli rakes in big bucks owing to his blockbuster contracts (with Team India and Royal Challengers Bengaluru) and his stellar sponsorship deals with the likes of global brands such as Puma, Audi, and MRF, to name a few. But thanks to his whopping 276 million Instagram followers, a good portion of his income is also generated from social media posts.
According to the Influencer Marketing Hub website, Kohli earns R12 crore from each sponsored Instagram post. He also earns Rs 2.5 crore from a sponsored post on X - he has 67 million followers on X. This makes him the third-highest paid celeb on Instagram, behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
