With just 50 days to go for the ICC Women's ODI World Cup, India's two-time World Cup-winning all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has advised the Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian team to believe in themselves when they embark on their campaign, starting next month in India and Sri Lanka.

"There will be times when things are not going to go well, that's the time when experience and self-belief must take over - the belief that I can be the player at this moment. Every time you walk into a game, you have to believe that," Yuvraj said during the ICC Women's ODI World Cup trophy launch event at a city hotel on Monday.

Yuvraj has been part of two World Cup-winning Indian teams - the 2007 T20 World Cup in South Africa and the home ODI World Cup in 2011.

He also warned the Indian women about the added pressure associated with playing a big tournament like the World Cup in home conditions. "The fans always want fours and sixes, or wickets. They come to watch and want to be entertained. But the point is, if you want to win the World Cup, you have to assess every situation. There will be times when they [Indian team] are going to feel that pressure," added Yuvraj, who was adjudged Player of the Tournament at the 2011 World Cup.
