Nothing 4(b) goes on sale in India (Pic/Special arrangement)
UK-based consumer technology brand Nothing announced that its newly launched Nothing Phone (4b) is now available for sale in India. The smartphone, which marks the debut of the company's new (b) series, is positioned as one of the most affordable entry points into the Nothing ecosystem.
With the launch of the (b) series, Nothing is aiming to expand its presence in India's competitive mid-range smartphone segment by offering its signature design language, AI-powered software, and premium features at a more accessible price point.
Built on the success of its predecessors, the Phone (4a) series, the Phone (4b) retains Nothing's signature transparent design and Glyph Interface while offering upgraded hardware, AI-powered software features, and a long-lasting battery.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 mobile platform, the smartphone packs Nothing's largest-ever 6,000 mAh battery, aimed at users seeking extended battery life. The device also features a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) supported by the company's TrueLens Engine 4 image processing technology.
On the front, the Phone (4b) features a 6.77-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000 nits peak brightness, designed to deliver smooth visuals and improved outdoor visibility.
The smartphone runs on Nothing OS 4.1, based on Android 16, offering a clean software experience with the company's Essential AI features integrated into the operating system. Nothing has also committed to providing up to six years of security updates for the device.
The Phone (4b) is available in black, white, and blue color options and comes in two storage variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
The standout hardware feature is the 6,000mAh battery, the biggest ever in a Nothing phone. According to the company, it can deliver up to 18 hours of mixed usage, 22 hours of YouTube playback, and 26 hours of Instagram browsing. The phone supports 33W wired fast charging, reaching 50 per cent in under 30 minutes.
The Nothing Phone (4b) is available at an effective starting price of Rs 29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs 33,699 for the 8GB + 256GB model.
