Being sensible with money is a sign of adulthood, and you should tell him where you are coming from. This can derail a relationship if it isn’t handled with sensitivity, so you should also speak about it even if it makes you both uncomfortable

There are some unresolved issues between my ex-girlfriend and I that threaten my current relationship. She thinks I cheated on her, even though I didn't, and she keeps messaging me to tell her that she is going to speak to my current girlfriend. I have tried explaining this many times, and it's why we broke up to begin with, but she refuses to listen because she wants to blame me. I understand that she is angry, and am sad that our relationship didn't work out, but don't know how to change her mind about this. What should I do?
Have you tried explaining this to your girlfriend? Why does your ex believe you cheated on her? Why couldn't you convince her the first time? Your conscience is clear, so you shouldn't have a problem putting your side of the story across to your girlfriend. Your ex will move on from this at some point, of course, but she deserves to be heard and acknowledged even if she isn't willing to accept your version of events. You can also consider the legal implications of anything you consider defamation of character, though that may be an unnecessary stance to take for now, especially because much of this can be resolved through open and constant dialogue. Reach out to her, ask for a meeting, and talk about how you can both put this behind you.

What can I do to get my boyfriend to stop asking me for money whenever his salary runs out? He always repays me within a few weeks, but it is annoying because he needs to be more responsible and thinks of my refusal to help as an insult.
