He expressed his excitement over reaching the Australian Open, a grand slam, which he won in 2009 but since then injuries, had plagued his progress during the tournament.
"Here I am again in a semi-final of the Australian Open. After the past two years reaching the quarters of this tournament and not being able to finish well in the matches.
I had to retire in 2010 against Andy Murray and last year got injured after the third game against David Ferrer. Finally I am playing again in a semi and I''m very excited about it," he added.
