Five years ago, when Sunny Leone appeared on the controversial reality show, 'Bigg Boss', she instantly grabbed eyeballs. A popular adult movie star, she was trying her luck in B-Town.
Back then, not many were confident if she'd be able to sustain the curiosity, but cut to the present, she is still here and to her credit, bagging legitimate film roles while training with new friend Aamir Khan's acting trainer, Prakash Bhardwaj.
On the eve of her fifth year in Bollywood, Sunny will spend a day in the Bigg Boss house and present a special task for contestants. Says the actress, "It's my fifth anniversary and I will be going back into the house. All the contestants are interesting. I hope I was able to provide a little fun for everyone (back when I was in there)."
She calls her Bollywood journey 'surreal', and admits to have spent most evenings bingeing on pizza and SRK films. "Now, I get to work with him," she says, referring to a special number with the superstar in 'Raees'.
"This Diwali, I met Shah Rukh at a party. Working with him was a reminder of how far I have come. Gauri [Khan] told me she loved my song in the film. When a woman compliments your look, it is even more reassuring."
