After being signed on by John Abraham for his home production, Jacqueline Fernandes will now support the same charitable cause as the actor.
The actress has recently signed up as a brand ambassador for Habitat For Humanity to work for the cause of poor and needy people.

John represents India with Habitat for Humanity and Jacqueline will be representing Sri Lanka. Jacqueline says, "This is my first endorsement for a charitable organization. I thank Habitat for the opportunity, to make a difference to society. This organization helps the poor and needy people with shelter. They aren't free homes which are given away but people work in order to collect funds and provide free homes."
Can't restrict me!
She will be traveling all around the small towns and villages in Sri Lanka to participate in the ongoing projects there. She continues, "Habitat for Humanity works with ambassadors globally. We have John in India, Ricky Martin in the united Sates. Each ambassador helps in contributing to another in their own way."
Having made her debut in Bollywood, the model turned actress is more than willing to be a part of India's organisation. She adds, "Now that I am residing in India, as a responsible citizen, I will be glad to be work for the people in this country too. It doesn't restrict me to work to a specific country I represent."
Jacqueline will be making her first public appearance for the organisation in November. "The annual event will be held in November in Thailand where all the ambassadors will be present. I will be present there too representing my country," she adds.
