Salman Khan, who was promoting his film in Nagpur on Monday, has appealed to political parties to not misuse the song of his upcoming film for their benefit. And while he was at it, he also clarified that 'Jai Ho' has got nothing to do with the Aam Aadmi Party.

Speaking to mediapersons, the actor said, “If the system is corrupt, let the aam aadmi (common public) raise his awareness instead of blaming others. I fail to understand why the aam aadmi needs leaders to guide him.”

Turns out the actor is irked with political parties using the songs of his film even before its release. Unlike Aamir Khan who has been quite vocal about his support to Aam Aadmi Party, Salman said he had no interest whatsoever in politics.

“Arvind Kejriwal has won the elections and people have given him such a big platform but he will have to prove himself now,” the Dabangg star added nonchalantly.
