Filmmaker Priyadarshan has confirmed that Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will make a cameo in his upcoming Hindi film Haiwaan, starring Akshay Kumar, Saiyami Kher, and Saif Ali Khan. In a recent interview, the director shared that Mohanlal will be in the film. However, he did not reveal details about the superstar’s character in the movie. He stressed that his projects are always story-driven, not actor-driven, so this project will be no different. The filmmaker has helmed around 95 film, and he stated that he has ‘no plan’ for his 100th film yet, but that it’s ‘definitely’ going to be with Mohanlal. Haiwaan, said to be an adaptation of Mohanlal’s 2016 thriller Oppam. Haiwaan is slated for a 2026 theatrical release.
