Mohit Suri on not supporting Animal publicly
Sandeep Reddy Vanga extended his support to the film even before the release. He had shared the trailer of the film through his social media handle and even reaced out to Suri after the film's release to express his appreciation.
Mohit Suri, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, said that he was disheartened for not supporting Vanga publicly after the release of Animal. "After Animal was released, half the world seemed to be against him. But I genuinely loved the film. I messaged him at the time, telling him I could see the director’s vision in every frame. I didn’t know him personally, but I became a fan. I wish I had posted publicly about it, but I was off social media then,” he admitted.
He acknowledged that his lack of public praise still bothers him. “Personal praise is common in this industry, but public acknowledgement is rare. Sandeep did both, and that takes a secure and generous person. The first thing my wife told me was that it takes confidence to praise someone publicly like that. I completely agree,” Suri said.
