Taapsee Pannu and her husband, Mathias Boe, prefer living a private life away from the limelight, and their secret wedding was a testament to it. The couple got hitched in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur, and recently, the actress opened up about her life in Denmark. However, her statement about living with Mathias’ parents was misconstrued, after which she slammed a news portal for sensationalising it.

Taking to her Instagram, the actress shared a reel posted by a leading media house with the headline, “India chhod videsh mein shift hui mashhoor actress Taapsee Pannu!” She slammed them for spreading false information. While sharing the reel, the actress wrote, “Can there be a less false and less sensational headline!!!??? Ya phir headline galat ho ya sahi, aap toh kahenge ‘Sabse tez’ portal. Maybe slow down and do a little bit of research…???”

Taapsee, who has been juggling between Denmark and Mumbai since she started dating her now-husband Mathias Boe, in a chat with Hindustan Times, talked about her life there and revealed, “What is strange for Danes but normal for us Indians is that Mathias’s parents live with us. They have their own space on the ground floor — their bedroom, living room, dining, and lounge area. It’s the most Indian thing I brought into the house, and it took us a while to convince them because it’s not so common to live with grown-up kids in Danish culture. Since we keep travelling, we wanted someone to come home to, and it’s a beautiful feeling; it truly feels like home.”

About Taapsee and Mathias

After dating for over a decade, Taapsee Pannu married her long-term partner, Mathias Boe, in a traditional ceremony on March 23, 2024. Their close friends and family attended the wedding. The list of guests included Anurag Kashyap, Kanika Dhillon, and Pavail Gulati, among other celebs.

After her wedding, she made a startling revelation and mentioned that they had a court marriage in December 2023. She stated, “People were unaware of my wedding this year as we didn’t make a formal announcement. In fact, we got married in December of last year. Our wedding anniversary is coming soon. We simply signed the papers then. If I hadn’t mentioned it today, no one would have known.”
