The latest episode of The 50 brought both emotion and drama, with Krishna Shroff opening up about her personal life in a candid conversation that caught many by surprise. The fitness entrepreneur confirmed that she is in a live-in relationship with Afghan MMA fighter Abdul Azim Badakhshi, sharing how their unexpected love story began. Krishna Shroff makes a personal revelation Recalling their first interaction, Krishna said they initially crossed paths at a fight event in Mumbai. “He had a fight in Mumbai, and I was there because Tiger co-owned a team that was playing opposite him,” she shared. What started as a casual moment soon turned into something more when Azim reached out to her on Instagram. “I saw his DM; he had just said ‘Hi’. I replied, and he immediately asked for my number,” she said with a smile, adding, “No one had ever approached me with so much confidence, and I like that.” Despite language barriers, he speaks Persian while she is more comfortable in English, the two built a strong connection. Krishna revealed that for nearly eight months, they only spoke through video calls and phone conversations before finally meeting properly. When Azim eventually came to India, they spent two weeks together in Goa, a time she describes as deeply emotional. “When we were saying goodbye at the airport, we didn’t know if we would ever meet again. We were both crying,” she admitted. But fate had other plans. Azim decided not to return to Afghanistan, and Krishna flew to Delhi to spend more time with him. “Those three weeks changed everything. Our relationship became much stronger,” she said. It was during that time that she made a bold decision. “I asked him if he wanted to move in with me in Mumbai. We moved in together immediately. He lives in Mumbai now,” she confirmed. Talking about what love means to her, Krishna reflected, “For me, love is when you put the other person before yourself. If he is okay, I am okay.” She described their journey as “crazy” and “mad,” admitting that some moments are too personal to share publicly. Guess who re-enter The 50 The episode didn’t just focus on romance. It also saw a dramatic twist with Karan Patel and influencer Vanshaj Singh re-entering the show as wildcard contestants, sparking tension and fresh confrontations among the participants.
25 February,2026 06:54 PM IST | Mumbai | mid-day online correspondentActress Ridhi Dogra continues to emerge as one of the most balanced and fearless players on The 50. In a tense argument with Nehal Chudasma, Ridhi questioned her loyalty after Nehal failed to vote for Karan Patel, someone who was clearly part of her alliance. Ridhi Dogra takes a stand for loyalty For Ridhi, loyalty is not selective. It is the foundation of any alliance. During the confrontation, Ridhi firmly pointed out that standing with your team matters most when they are vulnerable. Her calm yet assertive tone reflected leadership rather than aggression. Ridhi schooled Nehal on the importance of commitment in the game, stating that alliances cannot survive if members don’t stand by each other in crucial moments. Her clarity struck a chord with the rest of the house. What stood out was how the majority of the team rallied behind Ridhi. Many contestants seemed to agree with her stance, reinforcing her position as someone who plays with integrity and consistency. Instead of getting emotional, Ridhi handled the situation with maturity. She emphasized that strategy without loyalty creates cracks within a team, something she refuses to allow within her circle. With the house backing her viewpoint, Ridhi once again proved that strong leadership isn’t about raising your voice, it’s about standing firm in your principles. On The 50, she continues to command respect, not demand it. Karan Patel's eviction In an emotional episode of The 50, actor Karan Patel bid farewell after a shocking multi-contestant elimination that left the house stunned. The unexpected twist saw five contestants voted out in one go, dramatically shifting alliances and altering the course of the game As the host, known as The Lion, began announcing the names, tension gripped the room. Karan’s name was called first, and the actor appeared visibly shaken. Fellow contestants gathered around him in support as the weight of the moment sank in. Later, reflecting on his exit, Karan broke down while sharing what truly overwhelmed him. “It was just the thought of going home and seeing my daughter,” he said, struggling to contain his emotions. The heartfelt confession struck a chord, revealing that beyond strategy and competition, family remained his biggest strength. Alongside Karan, contestants including Chahat Pandey, Aarya, Bhavya, and Maxtern were also eliminated after receiving the lowest votes from their co-contestants. The house atmosphere quickly turned heavy, with friendships tested and unspoken tensions surfacing.
25 February,2026 03:38 PM IST | Mumbai | mid-day online correspondentA recent episode of Wheel of Fortune turned unexpectedly hilarious when host Akshay Kumar found himself caught in a playful exchange between a contestant and his wife. The episode featured contestant Manav Khosla, who instantly grabbed attention with his cheerful energy. When Akshay asked him the secret behind his wide smile, Manav quipped, “Main khush isliye hoon kyunki main joru ka ghulam hoon,” joking that he is happy because he listens to his wife Twinkle Khanna. The audience burst into laughter at his candid confession. Akshay Kumar calls himself Joru ka Ghulam Akshay, known for his quick wit, decided to take the joke further. Spotting Manav’s wife Mukta in the audience, he teased, “Yeh aapke gulam hain?” asking if her husband was truly her obedient servant. Mukta laughed and sweetly corrected him, saying her husband was not just her “ghulam” but also her “sirtaj,” meaning her crown. Just when everyone thought the banter had peaked, Mukta surprised the host and audience with a cheeky revelation. Describing her husband as a stylish dresser and a full-on party lover, she said he needed someone energetic to match his vibe. Then came the twist. Mukta playfully requested Akshay to help find a girlfriend for her husband. Akshay Kumar's reaction to the demand The unexpected comment left Akshay momentarily stunned. In mock disbelief, he exclaimed, “Mere kaan phat kyun nahi gaye? Dharti khul kyun nahi rahi, hum sama kyun nahi gaye!” His exaggerated reaction had the entire studio roaring with laughter. Mukta continued the fun, telling the host, “Aapse nivedan hai, koi ho toh batayiye,” requesting him to suggest someone suitable. Akshay, still in comic shock, shot back, “Main dhoondhu? Ab maine yeh kaam bhi shuru kar diya hai? Aap galat aadmi se pooch rahe ho!” making it clear that matchmaking was not part of his job description. The lighthearted moment became the highlight of the episode, showcasing not only Akshay’s impeccable comic timing but also the easy chemistry between the contestants and their families. What started as a simple question about happiness quickly turned into one of the most entertaining exchanges of the season, proving once again that sometimes the unscripted moments make for the best television.

Speaking about the role, Jayati shared that the character is still evolving within the storyline. “Right now, Shalini Batra’s character is being developed. I don’t know whether she is a positive or negative character. As the story progresses, Shalini Batra will continue to grow. There is definitely a backstory to Shalini, and only time will tell whether Sharda and Shalini are the same person. That’s going to be interesting,” she revealed. Jayati Bhatia shares her joy on returning to the show Jayati also expressed her happiness about returning to the set after a brief break. 24 February,2026 07:31 PM IST | Mumbai | mid-day online correspondentChef Kunal Kapur, known for giving Indian cuisine a refined modern touch, has returned to MasterChef India as a judge after a long gap. In an exclusive chat, the celebrated chef reflected on his journey with the show, his bond with fellow judges Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar, and what continues to excite him about the culinary platform. Calling it an enriching experience, Kunal said, “Oh, well, I think it’s been a very interesting journey for me. What has really come out and established itself is the amount of exposure that I’ve got through this show. I’ve got a great deal of opportunity to learn my own food, my own cuisine.” Kunal Kapur on returning as judge in MasterChef India He explained how his training began with classical techniques. “When you’re trained as a professional chef, you start with French cooking, the basics. And once you are part of MasterChef India, and once you start traveling India across India, you realize that there is so much of food that is still undiscovered, untouched. The realisation dawns on you that a lifetime is too less a time to even understand or crack the surface of Indian food. And the journey for me is a major learning curve, personally. Also with television as a medium, connect to masses to make them understand my food philosophy.” Speaking about contestants, he added, “I think what home cooks bring in is the honesty, the love and the passion for food. Normally in a hotel, you are sometimes fixated on to a certain menu. You don’t easily divert or flow into another direction. It takes time to move because a restaurant or an establishment is a big ship. You can’t just make certain turns. But when you are an individual, when you’re a home cook, you’re not bound by certain ideations or rules and regulations. You are quick, nimble on your feet. You take the risk. You twist and turn the things. And that’s where your creativity comes into full bloom. And you’re not afraid to hold back anything. I think that’s very important.” On his bond with co-judges On his equation with his co judges, Kunal shared, “I think all three of us because we’ve known each other for over a decade and I’ve known Ranveer for about 26 years. Now we’ve worked in three different hotels together and both of them are like brothers. It’s the boys gang. But on cam, obviously, you see our chemistry, our individual characters coming out very clearly and distinctly. Off cam, obviously, there’s a whole lot of fun and musty and banter. We eat our food together. We are always together. There’s a whole lot of laughter. We make those funny reels which thankfully go viral on its own. It’s brainless. But it also gives us a outlet to kind of deflate ourselves from all the rush and the tension that sometimes happens on the set during the challenges.” Laughing about their personalities, he added, “So I think I’m the pooky clearly. Vikas is the mom pop and the one ready for banter is Ranveer. So I think these three personalities come across very, very clear and clean. And, you know, that’s part of who we are. So we don’t put on an act or anything. It’s natural. Obviously, we don different hats. We are not the same all the time. But this is what as a core we are. So it all comes across naturally. Vikas for sure. He needs constant pampering. He needs constant attention. All in a good way.” When asked what he would order from their menus, Kunal said, “What I would pick is from Vikas’s menu is the apple minas kai curry, which is a great combination of pineapple and a spicy curry. Very, very typical South Indian dish, which is made with a fruit as the hero. And from Ranveer’s menu, the Assamese black chicken, which is made from the black til. It’s a great tasting dish from our Northeast.”
24 February,2026 07:10 PM IST | Mumbai | Shruti SampatTelevision actress Mansi Srivastava has returned to the small screen with Lakshmi Niwas, taking on a positive role after portraying several negative characters in recent years. Describing the opportunity as a manifestation that finally worked in her favour, Mansi expressed gratitude for the shift. Mansi Srivastava on bagging the role “I’m very happy and grateful that I got positive again. Because it’s very difficult once you do negatives. It’s very difficult. Though I started my career with positive only. I was craving and I was manifesting last year that I want positive, I want to get positive. But in between, I had given auditions for negatives too, frankly, because I hate sitting at home. I gave negatives too. Then, one positive came on the way. But I didn’t like that role. I felt that it wasn’t fitting for my personality. Then, luckily, this happened. I don’t know from where. But yeah, like destiny that this Revati was written for me. Because initially, I had auditioned for a negative role in this show. I had auditioned for a negative role. But then, channel called me for a positive. I was like, this was written destiny. I had manifested earlier. But this is something that I got lucky.” Speaking about her character Revati, she shared, “She’s calm. She’s just like a housewife. She does all the household chores. She does all the kitchen chores. She listens to everyone. She loves everyone. But she doesn’t know how to run the kitchen. She has to do what her mother tells her to do. She wants that one day, her dream is that one day, she can handle the kitchen on her own. And she can tell everyone what she’s making. But otherwise, a very positive role. She wants everyone’s well being. She wants Radhika to get married. She wants everyone’s well being. There’s just one main characteristic of Revati, that she keeps blabbering. The audience who is thinking, this is happening, this is happening, they will be able to hear her blabbering. She’s kind of the storyteller also.” Pressure in TV Drawing parallels with her own life, Mansi said, “She is emotional. Because I also love my kitchen. I love my kitchen. I don’t like it when someone else enters my kitchen. I think it’s all of us. I don’t like it. I like it when I decide what to make. Though I get annoyed that I have to decide every day. You guys also tell me what to make. But there are a lot of parts. And positive, I want to call myself positive. I had to work on this as Revati’s character loves to talk. I had to work on my blabbering. How should I do it. It’s coming naturally now. You have to find an imaginary friend. I have started doing that. I have a friend who is talking to me.” She also addressed the uncertainties of the television industry. “It’s pressurising. It’s very disappointing also. If a show gets shut down in three months. It feels very disappointing. Because you make new connections. You make new friends. That’s also disappointing. Then there’s a struggle that now we have to look for another show. I really wanted to get a big show that goes on for a long time. And I love TV. I love doing TV. I have not tried to drift to web or movies. Because I enjoy doing what I’m doing. But it’s a struggle.”
24 February,2026 06:17 PM IST | Mumbai | Shruti SampatActress Ridhi Dogra is currently winning hearts with her performance on The 50. As she continues to navigate the high intensity reality space, her brother, actor Akshay Dogra, has been one of her strongest supporters. In an exclusive chat, Akshay opened up about watching Ridhi on the show, how the reality landscape has evolved, and how he missed having her at the premiere of their film Vadh 2. Akshay Dogra talks about sister Ridhi Dogra's The 50 stint Sharing his initial reaction, Akshay said, “So initially, I was watching and I was saying, of course, I support her. I was just talking to somebody and I was saying, even like the landscape of reality TV has changed so much because of the advent of the Instagrammers and YouTubers and content creators. So there’s a lot of loud noises happening. People know how to grab attention and how to get into, be the limelight and all of those things.” He admitted that Ridhi stepping into the format after a long gap came with its own challenges. “And Ridhi is like in a headspace where she’s doing all of this amazing work. And she’s not done a reality show in the longest time. I think the last one she had done was Khatron Ke Khiladi. Yes, back in the day. And suddenly she’s and so I saw the first couple of episodes. After that, like we’ve been sort of busy with the film. So it’s been a bit difficult. But I saw it and I said, oh, she’s like a fish out of water right now.” However, he believes she has found her footing. “But lately I’m seeing chunks and bits and I think she’s holding on her own value system that we move forward with. She’s not letting go of that, which is great. I’m so proud of her for doing that. And just I just hope she keeps going on ahead and does justice to whatever she’s doing over there. Especially in between like 49 others who are known for all types of kalesh.” Akshay reflects on dynamics in the Mahal Reflecting on the dynamics inside the house, he said, “I swear, the first two episodes I was seeing all the veterans, all the people who are there. I’m saying they’re all like quiet and nobody’s talking anything. They’re all just like, ok this is just drama, which is unnecessary at this point of time. So they’re steering away from what's not needed. Like we also as human beings, we you know, when you hold on to certain value systems, you just say, hey, live and let live. Be kind, be have compassion, be more understanding. So all of those things are there. But it’s fun. I’m waiting to see more of her inside the house.” Akshay also expressed disappointment that Ridhi could not attend the premiere of Vadh 2. “I’m a little disappointed that she’s inside. She would have been really, really happy to see the film. And unfortunately, she’s inside. And by the time she comes back out maybe the film won't be screening in theatres, because it just released now and she’s got another couple of weeks. So I don’t know where the film is going to be. So I don’t know when she’s going to get to see it. But I was really looking forward to have her see the film.”
24 February,2026 05:50 PM IST | Mumbai | Shruti SampatTelevision actor Aishwarya Sakhuja, known for her versatile performances, recently opened up about exploring short format dramas, her time away from daily soaps, and the changing landscape of the entertainment industry. Aishwarya Sakhuja on TV and short dramas transition Addressing her move into short dramas, she clarified, “I don’t see this as a transition because I am still acting. And now because we have so many mediums to explore so more the merrier but I look at the story and that’s about it. Whether you put me in theatre, ad, web. For me, it’s not a transition because it’s not like I am leaving acting and becoming a producer. I am still acting. So honestly, I don’t really care about the medium till the time the story is something that resonates with me.” Speaking about her absence from television, Aishwarya said, “I have not been away from TV for a long time. In fact, last year I did a show which got pulled down very soon. But yeah, it’s been a year, yes. I am waiting consciously for a good role to come my way, definitely. I think that’s why this break. But it is not a very agreeable break because the thing is that the kind of roles that have come my way have not really excited me so I am just waiting.” Aishwarya Sakhuja reflect on current state of TV Reflecting on the current state of television, she observed, “What is going wrong, I don’t know. It’s funny but I know what is changing is that the audience is definitely changing. They no longer have the concept of appointment viewing for television. They no longer have the ability or patience to continue watching a show. They’ve gotten into the habit of seeing 8 episodes with a story panning out in 8 episodes. So the medium the OTT medium has kind of spoiled us for choices whereas television which is a long format medium I think now till the time in every episode if there is nothing dhamakedar happening, the audience attention we are unable to hold on to. So even when we are scrolling on our phones, I don’t think we give enough time for a reel also. If we don’t enjoy it in 5 seconds, we move on. So I think that’s what’s happening. The attention span of the audience is getting reduced by the day and I think in that sense the long format is kind of suffering.”
