The makers released a behind-the-scenes video from the set following Smriti Irani's initial appearance as Tulsi Virani and the announcement video for the new Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. With Amar Upadhyay playing Mihir Virani, Hiten Tejwani playing Karan Virani, and Gauri Pradhan playing Nandini Virani, we saw Smriti, also known as Tulsi, once more in this video, which brought back fond memories for fans. Seeing the former cast members together after a long twenty-five years was a touching experience. However, new actors who are regarded as the Viranis' next generation will also appear in Ekta Kapoor's show. To our delight, the original cast members have now revealed the new generation of the show.

Meet the new generation

Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan greet us as the doors of Shanti Niketan open to the public once more in the latest teaser. Under the direction of the original Virani family, the two discuss the next generation of the onscreen family that will carry the story forward in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The first is actor Rohit Suchanti, who will portray Angad Virani, the on-screen son of Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay. Aman Gandhi portrays Hrithik Virani, their other son. Pari Virani, played by Shagun Sharma, is the lovely daughter of Mihir and Tulsi.

In a recent promo, the cast gets candid about returning to the sets of Kyunki after more than a decade. Shakti Anand, who played the role of Hemant Virani, calls it nostalgic. He shares how the show is extremely special to him, as it was his debut show.

Fans reaction for Kyunki 2

Some fans can't wait to meet the new ensemble of stars. "New Generation, New Cast But With Old Cast That's Only Possible In KSBKBT 2," for example, was posted on social media. The majority of internet users, however, are more excited to see Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan's on-screen romance once more. One fan wrote, "I hope EKTA Kapoor will soon show us Karan Nandini's modern-day romance and love story." Another fan wrote, "Thanks for bringing Hiten-Gauri together.... best couple.... want to see their romance in the show." "Excited to hiten-gauri's magnetic chemistry as karan-nandini again @hitentejwani @gpradhan," one commenter even said.
