A massive fire broke out at multiple commercial units in Sakinaka, Andheri east in <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/maharashtra-governor-not-devendra-fadnavis-should-clarify-on-letter-row-ncp-23267333" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Mumbai</a> on Thursday afternoon, the BMC said.
According to the civic body, the incident took place at around 1:34 pm at Anis Compound near Ajmeri Masjid in <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/sakinaka-articles" rel="none">Sakinaka</a>.
Following the incident, the Mumbai Fire Brigade, Mumbai Police, local BMC ward staff rushed to the spot. The fire fighting operations were immediately launched, the civic body said.&nbsp;

The fire was declared as a level-1 fire by the Mumbai Fire Brigade. It is suspected that the blaze was confined to 5-6 units (galas), it said.&nbsp;
The BMC said, as of now no injuries were reported in the incident. Further details are awaited.&nbsp;
