The Panvel City Police have arrested a 25-year-old man who fled from Uttar Pradesh police custody while being treated at a hospital. He was arrested in connection with a murder case and had declared a reward of Rs 50,000 to trace and arrest him.
The police said that the arrested accused, identified as Praveen alias Pradeep Ramazor Pal, aged 25, is a resident of Inayat Nagar in Ayodhya. Pal was booked by Ramkola police in Khushinagar district under Sections 302 (murder) and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
