Two Maoists were killed in an encounter with police at Baghail forest in Munger district today.
The encounter ensued when policemen were carrying out a combing operation in the forest to flush out the ultras this morning, Kharagpur DSP, K Chandra said.
A rifle along with 40 live cartridges was recovered from one of the slain ultras.
The encounter was still on, Chandra said.
