Two bogies of Darbhanga-Bangaluru Superfast Baghmati Express (2578) were gutted in the fire while being taken into shunting yard here for cleaning.
No one was injured in the incident which occurred about 8 am, Vijay Kumar, Station Master, said adding that the reason of fire could not be known.
However, other bogies were detached safely. The train, which was to leave for Bangaluru tomorrow, would depart as scheduled, the station master said.
