A 40-year-old woman was seriously injured after she was hit by a Pune Mahanagar Parivahan (PMP) bus in Bhosari on Monday night around 10.30 pm.

A 40-year-old woman was seriously injured after she was hit by a Pune Mahanagar Parivahan (PMP) bus in Bhosari on Monday night around 10.30 pm.






According to the Chief Medical Officer on duty at the YCM, "Mishra has received serious injuries and also fractured her leg. She also received several injuries to her face, hand and legs. Mishra was brought to the hospital around 10.45 pm."

Bus driver Ravindra Karbhari Hadavale, a resident of Alandi and conductor Dnyanesh Subhash Dahiphale were taking the PMP bus en route from Bhosari to Rahatni when the accident occurred.

"Hadavale was driving rash while Mishra, who was attempting to cross the road came under the wheels of the bus and got seriously injured," said police from the YCM chowky.

Hadavale however, denied that he was driving rash and instead claimed that he was turning the bus when the incident happened.
