A report released on Wednesday by the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) revealed that India faced frequent extreme weather events during the first nine months of 2023, resulting in nearly 3,000 deaths.
The country experienced extreme weather on 86 per cent of days from January to September 2023, causing extensive damage, including the loss of crops, homes, and animal lives.
