A 22-year-old earns three times more than the minimum wage by monitoring people doing their business

Job requirement: Watch porn

Rebecca Dickson

A young woman is being paid to watch porn, a side gig that pays her $20 an hour, three times more than the federal minimum wage in the US.

Rebecca Dickson, 22, was selected for the plum role by ethical sex site Bedbible, which advertised for an “open-minded” applicant willing to stream hours of X-rated movies. “It’s amazing. I’m still in shock!” Dickson, who was selected from over 90,000 applicants, declared in an interview with The Post, just days after starting her raunchy new role. “It really doesn’t get better than this!”

As part of the paid position, Dickson is required to gather data from kinky clips so that Bedbible can compile an “in-depth report about tendencies and statistics in porn”. The company hopes it will lead to a better understanding of people’s online preferences and practices.

Dickson’s first assignment is to watch Pornhub’s 100 most-viewed videos, noting the duration of each clip, as well as the sex positions that are featured. She’s also required to clock hair-colour distribution, language distribution and the number of orgasms included. The professional porn viewer will also make note of any fetishes and role plays that pop up.

“What I’ve noticed [so far] is that a lot of the videos have ‘stepmom’ or ‘stepsister’ in the title,” Dickson disclosed, revealing a valuable piece of data she’s already given Bedbible just days into the job.

After advertising the role last month, the company was inundated with applications from around the world, including thousands of horny citizens from the US. However, it eventually chose Dickson, who is a native of the UK.

With this gig, Dickson has to enter all the dirty data into a spreadsheet. She’s also required to watch all videos from the beginning to end, which can be tedious if they stretch on for more than an hour and include corny plot lines. Dickson is easing herself into the role, watching about five hours of porn per week. At present, she’s using the gig as a side hustle.

Three course meal of trash

English woman survives on  food from dumpsters, calls it freeganism

A woman in England revealed she has eaten “very well” for free for the past month, while helping her community do the same simply by hanging around local supermarket dumpsters.

Jill Bennett, 62, was on her way into the local market in Northampton, East Midlands, to go grocery shopping when she noticed a supermarket worker about to trash ten bags of food. “I thought, ‘surely they’re not going to throw that out,’ so I followed,” she said. Bennett stopped the worker and asked if she could take the bags and had a peek inside. “When I looked, I thought, ‘bloody hell.’ I was gob smacked,” she said.

“I was disgusted and thrilled and excited.” For the last month, the “freegan” has survived eating three meals a day, solely supplied by her supermarket trash after she was “sickened” by seeing the fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and ready meals going to waste.

‘Having more children could affect you mentally’

Rearing three or more children may spur the onset of cognitive decline or dementia in the later phase of life, according to the new study from Columbia’s Ageing Centre/Mailman School of Public Health and the University of Paris-Dauphine. The scientists found that having three or more kids versus two children has a “negative effect on late-life cognition”. The study said the additional children incur considerably more financial costs for their parents, thus reducing the family’s income and standard of living, which in turn causes worries and uncertainties, which could contribute to cognitive deterioration.

No crying at doctor’s

A New York woman recently shared that her sister was reportedly charged $40 “for crying” at a doctor’s appointment. Camille Johnson, 25, a popular YouTube and internet personality, shared a photo of her sibling’s medical bill. “My little sister has been really struggling with a health condition lately, and when she finally went to see a doctor, they charged her $40 for crying,” she captioned the photo in a tweet. The image highlighted a segment of the bill that docked her sister for a “brief emotional/behav assmt”. In the Twitter thread, she explained that her sister has a “rare disease” and “got emotional because she feels frustrated and helpless”.

Twins birth children at same time

A pair of identical twins in California have something new in common after they both gave birth to baby boys at the same hospital on the same day. Jill Justiniani and Erin Cheplak each gave birth to a seven-pound, three-ounce baby boy at Kaiser Permanente hospital in Anaheim. “Sharing our pregnancy together was really special because we really had the support of each other through every step of the process,” Justiniani said.

Cats grounded till September

Authorities in the southwest German town of Walldorf have ordered some cat owners to keep their pets indoors until the end of August, to protect a rare bird during its breeding season. The decree is designed to help save the crested lark, which makes its nest on the ground and is therefore easy prey for feline hunters. The bird’s population in Western Europe has declined sharply in recent decades.

Dog protects owner from mountain lion

A woman who was attacked by a mountain lion in Northern California says her dog jumped to her defence and was badly wounded protecting her. “I don’t think I will ever be able to live up to how amazing and loyal she is to me,” Erin Wilson said. Wilson was on a path with Eva a few yards ahead when a mountain lion lunged and swiped at her, scratching Wilson’s left shoulder, she said.
