The colourful diva will perform at a concert after the Indian Grand Prix on October 30, organisers said yesterday.

US heavy metal outfit Metallica are also slated to play at an "F1 Rocks" gig in the satellite town of Gurgaon on October 28 as a lead-up to the race.

"Formula 1 fans will be able to participate in a spectacle of performance from internationally acclaimed artists who are travelling to India for the event," race organisers Jaypee Sports International said.

"Lady Gaga will mark the closing of the ceremony."

Tickets for the race have been priced between R 2,500u00a0 and R 35,000. Separate tickets will be needed for the concerts.
