Just nine days after becoming only the second cueist after Australia’s Mathew Bolton to achieve a double title (snooker and billiards) in the Pacific International, at Melbourne, India's Sourav Kothari shone on the green baize at the National Sports Club of India (NSCI) All India Snooker Open.

On Thursday, PSPB’s Kothari constructed substantial breaks of 70, 101 and 89 to tame Bihar’s Shivam Arora, romping to a 5-3 (78-12, 57-19, 34-58, 63-40, 5-81, 101-0, 15-65, and 98-2) victory.
