Mumbai-headquartered XCW Xtended Car Warranty is expanding into the direct-to-consumer (B2C) market through online and offline channels, following four years of operations focused on the B2B automotive sector.

XCW has built its business through partnerships with car dealerships, automotive aggregators and vehicle brokers, providing extended vehicle protection solutions to their customers.

With its B2C expansion, vehicle owners can now directly enquire, complete eligibility and inspection formalities, and purchase protection plans through XCW's website, while offline assistance will also be available.

The company offers protection for major vehicle systems including engines, gearboxes, drivetrains, steering, braking and cooling systems, along with dedicated protection options for eligible electric vehicles.

XCW's protection programmes are supported by Genesis Global Holdings as its underwriting partner.

A company spokesperson said, "After four years of working with dealerships, aggregators and brokers, we felt it was the right time to take our experience directly to vehicle owners. Our focus is to simplify the process and make it easier for customers to understand what they are actually buying, rather than leaving them to navigate complicated fine print."

The company said it will continue its B2B partnerships while expanding its direct customer presence across India.
