Dancer-influencer Dhanashree Verma recently visited Dubai, where she found her peace at a temple. Her visit to the temple comes after Yuzvendra Chahal's revelations about the troubles in their marriage. He had mentioned how they were faking their relationship and how divorce took a toll on him.
Taking to social media, Dhanashree posted a series of pictures from her Dubai trip. Captioning her post, she wrote, "Back in Dubai after what feels like a lifetime. Growing up here gave me so many core memories and seeing how much the city has evolved was both surreal and heartwarming. One of the highlights was visiting this beautiful Hindu temple - peaceful, powerful, and a reminder of how far this city has come in embracing culture and community. Grateful for the growth, the roots, and the reconnection."
Her visit to Dubai happens after the cricketer broke silence on their divorce and marriage. In a chat with Raj Shamani on his YouTube channel, Chahal was asked what went wrong in his relationship, and he shared, "It had been going on for a while but we decided that we don't want to show the world what's happening until something gets finalised." On being asked if he was faking it for some time, he instantly agreed.
He also shared that during this phase, people started labelling him a cheater. "And I have never cheated in my life. I am not that person. You will never find anyone as loyal as me," he said.
"For a few months, I was depressed. I got anxiety attacks but only my close ones know about that. I used to have suicidal thoughts because my mind had stopped working. My family, Mahvash helped me during this phase", he added.
Chahal and Dhanashree tied the knot in 2020 before parting ways in 2024. After their separation, the cricketer is rumoured to be dating actress RJ Mahvash. They are spotted celebrating special occasions together. Recently, they were in London ringing in Chahal's birthday. In the same interview, he addresses dating rumours and cleared the air saying, "No, there's nothing. People can think whatever they want to think. I need to gather myself. I'm not afraid to fall in love again, but I'm scared of losing the person because I get attached with all my heart."
