Rekindling 1990s nostalgia

Bollywood icons Madhuri Dixit Nene and Anil Kapoor reunited at a special screening of the former's latest film Maa Behen, delighting fans and sparking a wave of nostalgia online. The duo, who delivered several beloved hits together including Tezaab (1988), Ram Lakhan (1989), Parinda (1989), Beta (1992), and Pukar (2000), remain one of Hindi cinema's most cherished on-screen pairings. Videos from the event showed the actors posing together and sharing a warm side hug. Fans flooded social media with requests to see them reunite on screen, with one writing, "This duo is unmatched!" and another urging, "Please cast them in a romantic film together." The pair last appeared together in Total Dhamaal (2019).

Prabhas as Bhairava in ‘Kalki 2898 AD'

Director Nag Ashwin has confirmed that work on Kalki 2 is moving ahead, with filming set to resume next month. "Kalki 2 has already begun. We are making preparations to continue shooting from next month and complete it at a rapid pace," he said. The sequel will see Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan reprise their roles as the story heads towards the much-anticipated showdown with Supreme Yaskin. The makers are reportedly targeting a December 2027 theatrical release after an extensive post-production phase.

Saif Ali Khan has opened up about the pressures facing star kids in today's film industry, saying his children, Sara and Ibrahim, are entering a far less forgiving era than the one he experienced. Calling the industry "extremely competitive", he added, "People are less forgiving now certainly than they were." Saif noted that success in films requires both hard work and good fortune, stressing that today's actors face constant scrutiny and far greater expectations than previous generations.
