The actor reportedly filed a complaint at Rorawar police station on Friday, claiming that the signature of his grandfather, Thakur Harender Pal Singh, was forged in 1997 when he was critically ill and allegedly not in a position to sign documents. Notably, his grandfather was a prominent landowner of Jalalpur village on the outskirts of Aligarh.

Singh alleged that his uncle, Ganga Singh, along with other family members, forged the signature on his will, thus depriving his father, late Captain Baldev Singh, of his inheritance rights to their property. According to the complaint, his father, Captain Baldev Singh, was not present in Aligarh when the will was executed. Additionally, his other uncle, Puniya Pratap Singh, had died before Harender Pal Singh, he stated.

The actor also alleged that a large portion of the properties inherited under the disputed will was later sold over the years. While talking to reporters on Friday evening, the actor said he had collected sufficient evidence to support his allegations. He also shared that he has recorded his statement with the police after lodging the FIR.

The dispute came to light last year, after Gaytri Devi rejected Chandrachur's allegations as false and accused him of falsely implicating her. She had also said that the will was genuine.

Notably, Chandrachur's father, Captain Baldev Singh, was a former Congress MLA from Aligarh city, who died a few years ago. The police have registered the case and initiated an investigation into the allegations after receivinf Chandrachur's complaint.
