A few days ago, reports of Kriti Sanon and her rumoured boyfriend, Kabir Bahia's, alleged breakup started doing the rounds. The rumours started after a video, in which Kabir was seen with a mystery girl at a party, went viral. It soon turned into a topic of discussion on social media, with fans speculating that the two had parted ways. Later, it was clarified that the girl in the viral video was Kabir's family friend, who is like a sister to him. Now, Kriti has seemingly put the rumours to rest.
Kriti, who is basking in the success of Cocktail 2, shared a half-yearly photo dump on social media on Tuesday. Fans noted that the photo dump included a picture of her and Kabir, wherein the two alleged lovebirds held each other close while enjoying a performance by Sukhbir. Kriti captioned the post: "Half yearly dump! Some moments that never made it to the gram.. (And some never will..)"
Referring to the picture, a fan wrote, "That 15th slide hit different, Kriti (sic)." Another fan wrote, "Happy for them and feel relaxed after hear rumors (sic)."
The rumours of Kriti and Kabir's alleged break-up emerged after the video surfaced on Reddit before spreading across several other social media platforms. Looking at the video of Kabir with a mystery woman, several users believed that the actress and Kabir had called it quits.
However, it was later revealed that there was no truth to the breakup rumours. A source close to Kabir cleared the air, stating that the viral video has been completely misunderstood.
"The image being circulated online of Kabir with a girl has been completely misconstrued. She's his family friend whom he considers like a sister. It's unfortunate how quickly people jump to conclusions and spread false narratives," the sources said.
