Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan marked Navratri with a traditional Kanya Pujan ceremony, sharing a glimpse of his festive celebrations with fans on social media. The actor posted a picture of himself seated on the floor alongside a group of young girls, offering a peek into how he observed the festival.
Dressed in a maroon T-shirt, Varun is seen sitting cross-legged and smiling at the camera while holding a handmade sign that reads "Happy Navratri". The young girls are seated around him, with drawings and a pink box of art supplies placed in front of them.
Alongside the picture, the Border 2 actor extended his wishes to his followers in Hindi, writing, "Heartfelt wishes to you all for Navratri." The post captured a festive moment away from the actor's usual film promotions and public appearances. As celebrations continue across the country, Varun joined several devotees marking the occasion with traditional rituals and prayers.
The actor is married to fashion designer Natasha Dalal, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Lara, in June 2024. They have largely kept their family life private, choosing to share limited glimpses of their personal moments with the public.
Varun's latest post was another such glimpse, as he marked the occasion while extending his wishes to fans. The actor has often shared festive greetings and moments from celebrations on social media, connecting with followers beyond his work on screen.
On the professional front, Varun was last seen in Border 2, the war drama featuring Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty alongside him. And Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, a romantic comedy directed by his father David Dhawan, which was released in June 2026.
Varun has built a varied filmography spanning romantic comedies, family entertainers and action dramas. His upcoming projects continue to add to a career that has seen him explore different genres since his debut.
For now, the actor's Navratri post offered a personal update amid his professional commitments, with Varun sharing festive wishes and a photograph from the Kanya Pujan ceremony. Varun Dhawan is also set to headline Yash Raj Films' first-ever theatrical horror film.
