Actor Raveena Tandon has opened up about the terrifying mob incident that took place outside her Bandra residence in 2024, calling it an "entire extortion plan" allegedly designed to intimidate her family and extract money. Nearly two years after the viral controversy, the actress shared chilling details about what she claims really happened that night.
According to Raveena, the situation escalated after a group accused her driver of hitting a woman with the car. However, CCTV footage later reportedly showed that no one had been struck. She said the police informed her that the chaos appeared to be a planned attempt to create panic and pressure her into paying money.
The actress revealed that a crowd allegedly tried to force its way into her home while her children were inside and her husband was away. Raveena explained that she initially stepped out only to calm the situation and speak to the women involved, believing it was a misunderstanding. But the situation quickly spiraled when a mob gathered outside her gate.
She recalled that her driver was cornered and threatened, prompting her to pull him back inside for safety. The actress said the mob allegedly warned her that the driver would be killed if she did not hand him over.
