Duet, the short film directed by Sheetal Menon, has finally released after a wait of almost three years. But that isn't the only reason behind the director's excitement. Acting has come knocking at Menon's door again - she revealed to mid-day that she plays a small role in Lijo Jose Pellissery's directorial venture, Dilkashi, which stars Zahaan Kapoor and Abhay Verma.
"After getting into writing and directing, I have become isolated in my own space. Suddenly, when this call happened, I was wondering whether I could really act," recalled Menon, who was last seen in Made in Heaven 2.

She voiced her apprehensions to Pellissery, who is making his Hindi film debut with the romantic drama. "The first thing I told Lijo was, âI don't remember the last time I faced the camera. So, I won't remember the dialogues!' He [assured me] saying, âYou'll be okay. Don't worry.' So, I went with that faith," she smiled. How was it working with the acclaimed director of Jallikattu (2019) fame? "It has turned out fabulous. It has young faces. I am so happy for Lijo and that I am also a small part of it."
