In the latest development in Dhurandhar production designer Saini S Johray's case where a crew member accused him of sexually harassing her, mid-day has learnt that a complaint against the former was made to B62 Studios late last year. Sources told us that the studio - owned by filmmaker Aditya Dhar and producer Lokesh Dhar, who produced the Ranveer Singh-led two-part film - began an internal investigation, eventually finding the accused guilty in late March 2026.
A source revealed that the complaint first reached the studio in October 2025, which immediately activated its Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Committee. "The POSH committee did a thorough investigation, given the sensitivity of the matter and the production house's no-tolerance policy towards harassment," said a source.
Another source shared that the POSH committee, by March-end, found Johray guilty. "It was a six-month investigation that ended around late March-April. He was found guilty on two counts - sexual molestation and tampering of evidence. The committee communicated the findings to the complainant," revealed the source.
The finding appears to have impacted Johray's association with the movie. While his credit appeared in Dhurandhar's (2025) OTT version that premièred on January 30, 2026, it has gone missing from the âRaw and Undekha' version that dropped on the streamer on May 22.
As for Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which released this March, it remains unknown whether he was credited in the theatrical version. However, his name doesn't appear on the sequel's IMDb page.
While Johray was arrested by the Chandigarh Police after an FIR was filed against him in the matter in April, he was granted bail by the district court later.
