Jin and the fans
On his birthday, BTS member Kim Seokjin aka Jin expressed his gratitude to ARMYs in a heartfelt post. The band's Hyung, often known as "Worldwide Handsome," turned 33 on December 4 and used the occasion to deliver a beautiful greeting to his vast audience. Meanwhile, his bandmates sent him beautiful birthday messages on social media.
Jin took to his official Weverse page, writing, "Hello, my name is Jin. It is my birthday. Whoo-hoo I couldn't say thank you on my birthday last year, but I'm delighted to be able to do it this year. A lot of good things happened this year. I released a solo album, had a concert, and all the members came back from the military without a big accident. What a grateful year it's been. Thanks to you, my birthday is back without much trouble haha. I always say this, but thanks to ARMY, I want to say thank you for working and living a happy life. ARMY, thank you always, and I love you. I'll turn on the birthday Live around 2 p.m. in Korean time! I love you. I want to celebrate my own birthday a little faster."
BTS's official Instagram handle also wished Jin through their tales. His bandmate J-Hope also posted some adorable photographs and words on his Instagram account. Jin and J-Hope are BTS's eldest members, and they were the first to be discharged from the military in 2024, a few months apart.
Fans were not far behind in wishing Jin, who filled social media. On X (previously Twitter), an ARMY posted, "Happy birthday to the mother figure of BTS." A second post stated, "Being thankful for the members' safety speaks a lot about his character."
More comments were read. "We're also glad you can celebrate with us this year, Jin. It's so lovely to have you back." "I love you; you deserve all of the love and good things in the world. I wish you happiness, good health, and success in your life. Happy 33rd birthday to our Seokjinie and the Only Worldwide Handsome." and "Finally, they're all together to celebrate a member's birthday like the good old days. Thank you, Jin, for bringing joy and laughter to millions of ARMY this yr, teaching us to take breaks and to find our own pace"
Another lengthy birthday wish read, "Happy 33rd Birthday to the gorgeous, mega talented silver vocalist, popstar & rockstar, the chart-topping, record-breaking, history-making Global Icon and K-Pop legend, the One & Only Mr Worldwide Handsome #JIN, who rang in his birthday, trending in the Top 2 of X Worldwide with #HappyBirthdayJin and Top 4 with #HAPPYJINDAY!"
Jin was formally dismissed on June 12, 2024, becoming the first member of BTS to complete their military service. After thereafter, the idol published Echo, his second extended play (EP). He also completed his first solo world tour, RunSeokjin EP. Tour, which became a big success.
