Global K-pop sensation BTS has unveiled the trailer for their upcoming documentary BTS: The Return, offering fans an emotional glimpse into the group's long-awaited reunion after nearly four years. Instead of a typical high-energy comeback teaser, the trailer adopts a reflective tone, focusing on the members' personal journeys, shared memories and the challenge of coming back together after time apart.

The documentary is closely tied to the group's upcoming album Arirang, which marks their first full-length release together in several years. During their hiatus, the members explored solo careers and completed mandatory military service, making the reunion particularly meaningful for both the group and their global fanbase. The trailer positions the comeback not just as a musical return, but as an emotional and cultural reset for the band.

One of the most striking aspects of the trailer is the use of "Arirang," a traditional Korean folk song known for its themes of longing, separation and perseverance. By incorporating the iconic melody, the project highlights the group's connection to Korean cultural heritage while reflecting their own journey through distance and reunion. The song adds a deeply emotional layer to the teaser, symbolising resilience and renewal.

Alongside the documentary, the comeback rollout includes the release of the Arirang album and a special global live performance event.
