After weeks of strategic gameplay and high-pressure challenges, Mini Mathur emerged as the winner of Alliance. Aly Goni became the first runner-up, while content creator Ruhee Dosani finished as the second runner-up in the finale task. In an exclusive chat with mid-day, Ruhee opens up about her journey, her rift with Zaid, Kushal Tandon, meeting Salman Khan, and much more.
Ruhee Dosani said she has no regrets about finishing as the runner-up on Alliance. Reflecting on the finale, she shared, "If you would have seen the last challenge, you would have felt that I have no regrets. I enjoyed it. I feel like Mini is absolutely deserving."
Ruhee revealed that she was initially hesitant to participate in a reality show, despite being an avid viewer of the genre. Calling Alliance one of the best decisions of her life, she said, "I was absolutely against reality TV because I didn't like it. It's my guilty pleasure to watch reality TV. So I was like, 'I'm going for this show?' But it turned out to be the best decision of my life. I'm very happy that I did this. And I met amazing people in there."
Early in the show, she had questioned whether Kushal Tandon was playing for the cameras. Explaining why she never formed an alliance with him, Ruhee said, "I feel like Kushal's gameplay was personal from the start. That's why I didn't want to play with him. He doesn't play with strategies when it comes to challenges. So I was like, I won't be able to play with him. He's a good solo player, though."
Ruhee Dosani addressed the friction that developed between her and Zaid Darbar after she chose to support Payal over him during a task. Zaid had questioned her gameplay, leading to a brief fallout between the two. However, Ruhee said they resolved their differences while still on the show and that she never held any grudges against him. "We sorted everything out in the show, and I was wondering what happened to Zaid all of a sudden. Because in the show, you saw, I didn't say anything about Zaid. I have no issues with him. I feel like he just panicked and messed up, and I have said this many times. I think Zaid likes me. So it's okay. It's cute," she said.
Ruhee Dosani described meeting Salman Khan as one of the biggest highlights of her Alliance journey. She admitted that the contestants were left stunned when the superstar walked in. "I'm still not able to digest the fact that we shared the same space with Salman Khan. We were genuinely shocked that he was there. I even took off my glasses because I couldn't believe it. It was the best part of the show for us," she shared.
Asked if Alliance had changed her opinion about reality TV and whether she would participate in another show, Ruhee quipped, "I don't know what's written in the future. I'm not going to say no to anything. But if I get a good cheque, then I might think about it."
