Akanksha Choudhary and Pamela Serena were evicted from Lock Upp 2 in a dual eviction. Before her eviction, Pamela got into an ugly fight with Varun (Laila) and Ram Kapoor. In an exclusive chat with mid-day, she opened up about Hina Khan calling her fake, Ram Kapoor making her uncomfortable, and her bond with Akanksha Chamola.
Recalling her interaction with Hina Khan and Uorfi Javed during a special segment on the show, Pamela Serena said she was hurt by their reaction after she asked a question during a task.
"I just asked one question. We have always been taught that if you don't understand something, you should ask. The way they behaved, it felt like I had killed someone or asked for their bank account password. They made a very big deal out of it. I don't think it was nice the way they tried to put me down. They were being mean girls," she said.
Opening up about her heated confrontation with Ram Kapoor, Pamela Serena said she felt uncomfortable when he continued speaking to her from close range during the argument.
"I was uncomfortable because he cannot behave like that with me. We don't have that level of comfort where I've known him for years. If he behaves like that, I will obviously feel uncomfortable. It wasn't about him as a person, but about the situation," she stated.
Pamela Serena clarified that she never intended to disrespect Varun's family and believes the incident was portrayed differently through editing. She also recalled that fellow contestant Apoorva Mukhija had warned her that Varun's fans might troll her and even use the "R-word," something she believed Varun himself would never encourage.
"It looked like I was disrespecting his family, but I wasn't. I've always seen Varun as my friend. There were a few things he did that could have come across that way. And not just me, many people felt that, but all the blame was pinned on me," she said.
Pamela Serena believes Akanksha Chamola's behaviour changed noticeably after Gaurav Khanna entered the show. She recalled that Akanksha, who was initially bubbly and cheerful, became quieter and more withdrawn. Pamela added that while she tried to lift her spirits, she realised no one truly knows what someone is going through internally.
Sharing her thoughts on Shivangi Joshi and Harshad Chopda's equation, Pamela said the two were closely connected during the initial weeks of the show. However, she admitted she didn't pay much attention to them until their fallout with Shilpa Shinde.
