If you have always wondered how to use tofu in your food beyond the classic recipes that you make at home, then Indian chefs say you cannot only make a stir-fry but also use the ingredient to make a one-bowl meal that can be enjoyed a lot during the winter season

Crispy Tofu and Vegetable Stir-Fry
The best aspect of tofu is that you can experiment with a variety of stir-fries and Ashik Ali Saha, who is the executive chef at Two Moons in Bengaluru, says you can make a Crispy Tofu and Vegetable Stir-Fry. The crispiness of the tofu, the vibrant crunch of fresh vegetables, and the umami-rich sauce create a harmonious balance. It can be served with Jasmine rice.

Soy Glazed Tofu
At The Park in Navi Mumbai, chef Pawan Kumar wants you to make Soy Glazed Tofu as you set about experimenting with the ingredient, that is popularly eaten by vegans. Highlighting its many nutritional benefits, Kumar says there is a lot you can do with tofu because it is dense with nutrient and low with calories and often used in weight management too.

Tofu and Finger Millet Cake with Ponzu Sauce 
Catering to the interest of young diners, Amulya Kumar Das, sous chef at Novotel Goa Resort & Spa, says he wanted to make a more healthy and vegan option with the Tofu and Finger Millet Cake with Ponzu Sauce. Using the essence of colours, flavours and textures, Das says you can make the dish on any given day and enjoy it to the fullest.

Tofu & Fafda Melange
With the popularity of vegan cuisine, Deepak Thakur, who is the sous chef of global cuisine at Araiya Palampur, says you can easily make a Tofu and Fafda Melange. The tofu (semi hard) is in its crisp form and crispier with dehydration process.

Crispy Chilli Tofu
At Nara Thai, which is in BKC and Colaba, chef Prem Pradhan makes a Crispy Chilli Tofu and he says you can make it too. Pradhan says you can simply coat the tofu with corn flour and saute it in a paste of Bhavnagri chillis and Kashmiri chillies, some cooking wine, salt and garlic to make a deliciously aromatic dish.
