A major accident involving multiple vehicles was reported on the Missing Link section of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Wednesday. The collision led to traffic disruption on the busy corridor as emergency teams and highway authorities reportedly rushed to the scene, officials said.
According to preliminary information, multiple cars were involved in the crash. The impact caused damage to several vehicles and resulted in congestion on the expressway.
The officials worked to clear the affected stretch and restore normal traffic movement.

Meanwhile, in an another incident, six women were killed and three others sustained serious injuries after a tractor collided with an e-rickshaw on the Bareilly-Mathura road in Uttar Pradesh''s Badaun district on Wednesday afternoon, officials said, reported the PTI.
The accident took place when eight women of a family were travelling to Garhhauna village in the e-rickshaw to invite relatives for a wedding.
According to police, the family of Dalchand Maurya, a resident of Murawan Nagla village, was preparing for the wedding of his son Kunwar Pal scheduled for June 29, the news agency reported.
Police said the e-rickshaw was allegedly trying to avoid another tractor when another speeding tractor coming from the opposite direction hit it. The impact left the vehicle badly damaged.
